Camera

Visitor Check-out: Camera

Note: We recommend using the Logitech C925e for an optimal camera scanning experience in Visitor Management. You will need to allow camera access for “https://navigate360vm.com” in your browser settings. We also recommend Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari when using the Camera Scanning Method. 

 

 

Visitors will follow the below steps to check out on a Self-Serve station, with the Scanning Method set to Camera:

  1. Visitor will select the Visitor button on the Self-Serve landing page, and then select Scan Government-issued ID
  2. Visitor will be directed to the Scan or Capture Government-Issued ID page
  3. Visitor will scan the same government-issued ID used to check into the building
  4. Visitor will review the information on the Confirm you information below page
  5. Visitor will select Confirm & Check-out 
  6. Visitor can select Finish to complete the check-out process or just walk away and the screen will refresh to the Welcome page.
    1. Visitor will be able to scan a QR code to download the mobile app for future visits, but will need to be invited via an invite code from a staff user or admin to create a mobile app account. 
 
 

2D Scanner

Visitor Check-out: 2D Scanner

Note: There are currently two 2D Scanners supported by Visitor Management. The Zebra DS9308-DL and the Zebra DS457. A camera will also need to be connected to your computer in order to capture the visitor's photo after scanning their Driver's License.

 

 

Visitors will follow the below steps to check out on a Self-Serve station, with the Scanning Method set to 2D Scanner:

  1. Visitor will select the Visitor button on the Self-Serve landing page, and then select Scan Government-issued ID
  2. Visitor will be directed to the Scan or Capture Government-Issued ID page
  3. Visitor will scan the same government-issued ID used to check into the building
  4. Visitor will review the information on the Confirm you information below page
  5. Visitor will select Confirm & Check-out 
  6. Visitor can select Finish to complete the check-out process or just walk away and the screen will refresh to the Welcome page.
    1. Visitor will be able to scan a QR code to download the mobile app for future visits, but will need to be invited via an invite code from a staff user or admin to create a mobile app account. 
 
 

QR Code Scan

Visitor Check-out: QR Code Scan

Note: This check-in option requires the visitor to have been invited to the Visitor Check-in Mobile App by a staff user and schedule their visit before arriving at the school.

 

 

Visitors will follow the below steps to check in on a Self-Serve station, using the QR Code Scan option:

  1. Visitors will select the Visitor button on the Self-Serve landing page, and then select Scan QR Code from Mobile App
  2. Visitors will be prompted to position their QR Code in front of the camera, so that it is in the center of the viewfinder on screen
  3. Visitor will review the information on the Confirm you information below page
  4. Visitor will select Confirm & Check-out 
  5. Visitor can select Finish to complete the check-out process or just walk away and the screen will refresh to the Welcome page.
    1. Visitor will be able to scan a QR code to download the mobile app for future visits, but will need to be invited via an invite code from a staff user or admin to create a mobile app account. 
 
 

Visitor Badge Check-out Barcode

Visitor Check-out: Visitor Badge Check-out Barcode

Note: In order to have a barcode print on the badge for visitors to check out, an admin must enable the Check-out Barcode option on the Check-in Badge Admin Settings page. 

 

 

 

Visitors will follow the below steps to check out on a Self-Serve station, with the Scanning Method set to 2D Scanner:

  1. Visitor will select the Visitor button on the Self-Serve landing page, and then select Scan Visitor Badge Barcode to Check-out
  2. Visitor will be directed to the Scan Barcode from Visitor Badge page
  3. Visitor will scan the barcode on the bottom of their Visitor Badge
  4. Visitor will review the information on the Confirm you information below page
  5. Visitor will select Confirm & Check-out 
  6. Visitor can select Finish to complete the check-out process or just walk away and the screen will refresh to the Welcome page.
    1. Visitor will be able to scan a QR code to download the mobile app for future visits, but will need to be invited via an invite code from a staff user or admin to create a mobile app account. 
 
 

 

Google Translate

Google Translate is available to assist non-English-speaking students or guardians checking a student out early. To use this feature, students or guardians can click Select Language at the bottom of the Self-Serve main page. Once they choose their preferred language,  the page will refresh and they can complete the needed steps to check out early of the building.
