Visitor Enhancements
Configurable Workflow for Duplicate Visitor Profiles:
Admin users will see a new section added to the Visitor Check-in Settings page for configuring the Duplicate Profile Check Process that will be used during Visitor Check-ins. When the High‑risk Duplicates Only setting is enabled:
- Only potential duplicates that are tied to a security‑related flag (Sex Offender Match, Blocklist, Custody Instructions, High‑Importance Note) will require resolution during the check-in process. All other visitors will be allowed to complete their check-in and have their Low-risk duplicates reviewed at a later time.
- Users will see a new icon added to Visitor Profiles that have pending low-risk duplicates. Allowing users to quickly identify and resolve duplicates that don't pose a security risk, directly from the Visitor's Profile.
- Users will see a new Potential Duplicates Only toggle added to the List view of the All Visitors page. When enabled, the list will be filtered to only display Visitor Profiles that have pending low-risk duplicates.

Student Enhancements
Streamlined Late Check‑In Setup & Workflows:
Admin users will be able to label Late Check‑In Reasons as Excused or Unexcused Types from the Admin → Student Tracking page. Once configured, all users will see that selecting a Reason with a pre-set Type during a Student Late Check-in automatically applies that Type to the transaction. This will reduce the amount of manual input required for front office staff.
When used in combination with the Badge Printing section of the Student Tracking page, students or guardians who select a Late Check-in Reason with a pre-set Type and have their Grade Level set to automatically print from Self-Serve will no longer trigger a Finalize Student Late Check-in banner to appear on the Staff-Assisted station.

Enhanced Visibility of Blocklist & Custody Notes During Early Check-outs:
Users will see that the Staff-Assisted Early Check-out workflow is updated to clearly display if a linked Parent/Guardian was added to the Visitor Blocklist or has Custody Instructions when selecting who is checking the student out. This will give staff convenient access to critical information before allowing a student to leave the building.

Staff Enhancements
District-Wide Substitute Access:
Substitutes will able to schedule substitution periods at any school in the district, regardless of their Home Building. After their visit is approved, the Substitute will be able to check in at the scheduled building with their QR Code from the VM mobile app or Barcode/RFID scan.
All users will see that substitutes can now be searched for using the district-wide staff search added to the Staff page - accessible from any of the Staff tabs. This will allow users to quickly search for any staff profile for substitutes across the district.
