Visitor Enhancements
Visit Options Page Enhancements
Custom Ordering of Visitor Type & Reason for Visit Lists:
Admin users will see that the Visitor Type and Reason for Visit lists have been updated on the Visit Options page to support drag and drop functionality. This new functionality will allow admins to customize the display order of Visitor Types and Reasons for Visit by simply dragging and dropping options into the desired order.
Configure Badge Printing for Visitor Types:
Admin users will see a new Print Badge setting added to all Visitor Types on the Visit Options page. This new functionality will allow admins to configure whether a badge should be printed when a specific Visitor Type is selected during check-in.
Visitor Profile Enhancements
High Importance Notes:
All users will see a new High Importance note type available when adding a note to a visitor's profile. Once applied, visitors checking in via the Self-Serve kiosk with High Importance notes will be required to see the front desk to complete their check-in. This new functionality will allow staff to review the details of the note before granting them access into the building.
Student Enhancements
Student Tracking Page Enhancements
Custom Ordering of Late Check-in & Early Check-out Reasons:
Admin users will see that the Late Check-in Reasons and Early Check-out Reasons lists have been updated on the Student Tracking page to support drag and drop functionality. This new functionality will allow admins to customize the display order of Late Check-in/Early Check-out reasons by simply dragging and dropping options into the desired order.
Volunteer Enhancements
The below enhancements require the Volunteer Management add-on subscription to Visitor Management. Please contact your Account Manager if you would like to learn more about Volunteer Management.
Ability to Add Minor Volunteers:
Admin users will see a new Minor Volunteers page added to the Admin Menu, allowing District Admins and District Volunteer Coordinators to enable support for volunteers under the age of 18. When this setting is enabled:
- All users will be able to manually add minor volunteers from the Volunteers page (individually or in bulk).
- Minor volunteers will be clearly identified with a Minor icon on both the Volunteers page and their Volunteer Profile, making them easy to distinguish from adult volunteers.
- On the Approved Volunteers page (List View), users will see a new “Minor Volunteers Only” toggle. Allowing users to quickly filter the list to only display minor volunteers.
Ability to switch to District-Wide Access for Volunteer Profiles:
Admin users will be able to update the volunteer application Schools the Application Applies To setting from Schools Specified from User to Entire District, all Approved Volunteers and Pending Applicants (if approved) will automatically receive access to every building in the district. This will ensure that volunteers can seamlessly register for opportunities and visit any school without delays or manual updates.
