This release includes updates for adding Staff and Student Barcode/ RFID capability to Self-Serve. It includes Home Building for Staff, PowerSchool Writeback updates, and more. 

New Staff and Student Barcode/RFID Self-Serve Functionality

• Students can now use their school-issued barcode IDs or RFID tags with self-serve to check in late and check out early once the ID is linked to the student.
• Students will see their profile details when using self-serve to check in late or out early.
• Staff members can now use their school-issued barcode IDs or RFID tags on self-serve for a touchless check in and check out process once the ID is linked to the staff member.
• Administrators can now add Barcode-RFID numbers to Student profiles by way of bulk upload or manual entry.
• Administrators can now add Barcode-RFID numbers to Staff profiles by way of bulk upload or manual entry.

Additional Self-Serve Updates

• The Self-Serve Setup page has a new look with the options to enable-disable the page and other persona types as necessary.
• All new functions related to Barcode-RFID on Self-Serve are also available in Spanish.

New Home Building Field for Staff

• Administrators can now update the designated Home Building field for all staff members, both when inviting new staff and on the Staff Profile.

Teacher Staff Type Added

• Teacher is now available as a new staff type when inviting staff members, both with individual and bulk invites.

PowerSchool Set-up Configuration Updates

• District Admin permission-level users can prevent a building from overriding PowerSchool Writeback settings from the district level.
• Building Admin permission-level users can now update PowerSchool Writeback settings for their building for Attendance Mode and Visible Student ID.

Updates to Staff and Substitute Visits

• Now only completed Staff or Substitute visits can be edited. If the check-out time is listed as Currently Visiting it can't be edited or deleted.
