If you can print from the staff computer, but nothing prints when someone checks in from self-serve:
IMPORTANT - The DYMO printer must be connected to the staff computer and not directly to the self-serve computer/iPad. Visitor Management uses web sockets to allow for print jobs to be automatically sent to the staff computer with a DYMO printer connected to be printed from there.
Check that the DYMO printer is assigned correctly in Visitor Management to the appropriate print job in Device Settings. If you have Do Not Print selected, then nothing will print from self-serve either.
Verify that automatic syncing on the staff computer is not being blocked.
Due to the use of the aforementioned web sockets, it is critical that communication from these web sockets is allowed unhindered through any network firewall. You can test to see whether your network is the issue by connecting the staff computer and the iPad/Self-serve computer to a personal device hotspot before attempting a print. If it works using mobile hotspot but not when you are connected to the school/district network, then the network is the issue, and you should contact your network IT technician.
