This release gives districts and staff a lot more control over how volunteer applications expire, adds a quick way to learn more about other Navigate360 products from inside VM, and fixes a couple of sync and login issues affecting SIS-connected staff and volunteers.

What's New

Volunteer Expiration: More Control, Fewer Exceptions

NOTE: requires Volunteer Management add-on.

Nothing here changes automatically — every option below is opt-in, and your existing volunteers keep their current settings & expiration dates until you choose to change them.

• Choose manual or automated renewal reminders. District Admins and District Volunteer Coordinators can now turn off automatic expiration email reminders and send them manually instead, whenever they're ready — no more waiting on the 30/60/90-day clock to fire.
• See the impact before a district-wide change goes live. When a District Admin or Coordinator updates the district's expiration timeline or fixed expiration date, they'll now choose whether the change is applied to all approved volunteers or only to new approvals going forward — and before confirming, they'll see exactly how many volunteer records will be updated or expired.
• Fix one volunteer's expiration date on the spot. Anyone with volunteer access can now edit an individual volunteer's expiration date right from their profile — no support ticket required.
• Bulk-edit expiration dates from the Volunteers list. Select multiple approved or expired volunteers and update their expiration dates all at once.
• A heads-up when timing gets close. If a manually edited expiration date falls inside the automated notification window, you'll be asked whether to send the renewal reminder right away instead of risking a missed notice.
• Full visibility in the Activity Log. Renewal application emails (automated or manually sent), manual expiration date edits (individual or bulk), and changes to the district's expiration settings now all show up in the Activity Log, so it's easy to see who changed what and when.

Fixed

• SIS-synced staff profiles can now have their Home Building corrected. If a staff member's building assignment was wrong due to a sync issue, District Admins can now fix it directly in VM instead of waiting on the sync to catch up. Other users will see the field disabled, with a note to contact their District Admin if a change is needed.
• Volunteer Portal logins no longer fail over letter case. Volunteers were occasionally getting an "Invalid email or password" error when their email's capitalization didn't exactly match what was stored, even with the correct password. Email addresses are no longer case-sensitive at login.
• Weekly Report emails are no longer duplicated. Some users were receiving multiple copies of their Weekly Report email when they should have received only one. This has been fixed.
