911Cellular: Computer Panic Button Setup
Follow these steps to begin the Computer Panic Button setup.
Alyssa’s Law complaint, the 911Cellular integration enables alarms activated in EMS to silently notify key district personnel and local PSAP agencies that an alarm has been activated within a specific campus building.
The 911Cellular integration with EMS includes access to Computer Panic Buttons, a software deployed to district-owned staff machines to enable alarm activation from a “hot-key” such as [ALT] + [BACKSPACE].
To set up the Computer Panic Buttons, your IT department will need to collect the following information:
Wi-Fi Access Point Data: Access Points allow our Hyper-Accurate Indoor Positioning System (HIPS) to locate panic button signals for all panic button products connected to Wi-Fi.

Machine Name Data: Identify all district-owned machines and location information to enable hot-key alarm activation

If your district has difficulty capturing this data for the silent rollout of the Computer Panic Button, please reach out to your Implementation Consultant to discuss configuration options for crowd-souring all required data.
