2D Scanning for Visitor Check-in:
- Visitors can scan the barcode on the back of their driver's license with a 2D scanner (Zebra Models DLS9308 of DS457) to check in and out using Self-Serve.
- Staff at the front desk can scan a visitor's barcode on the back of their driver's license with a 2D scanner (Zebra Models DLS9308 of DS457) to check them in.
Other Self-Serve Updates:
- Added webcam scanning support for new Driver's Licenses for Arizona, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
- Can select between Camera or 2D Scanner for Self-Serve Settings (only for Visitor Check-in).
- Visitors who check in via Self-Serve can scan the QR code at the end of the check-in process to be directed to the appropriate App Store (Android or iOS) to download the mobile app.
Please note: visitors will still need an invite code to access the mobile app.
- A visitor badge will now print when a visitor completes a self-serve check-in via QR code.
- Selecting Spanish on Self-Serve no longer prevents student check-out workflow from being completed.
