Learn how to update Aerial Images in Maps
Aerial maps are essential for visualizing entire campus layouts, labeling emergency routes for first responders, marking utility shut-offs and rally points for evacuations, and ensuring critical information is easily accessible in emergencies. Follow these steps to edit existing Aerial Maps with new images.
- Log into Emergency Management https://ems.navigate360.com/
- Select Maps on the left-menu to view a list of all maps uploaded for your district
- Using the Search or Filter options, locate the map you want to update.
- Click the three-dot Actions and select Edit to open the map. The map will open in a new browser window.
- Toggle On Edit Mode at the top of the screen
- Using the menu icons on the right, select Layers (image 1)
- Once selected, select the three-dot action button Layer you wish to edit. (image 2)
- If you do not see the option to edit, verify you have enabled Edit Mode!
- An Edit Window popup will appear with the option to Replace the current image.
- Upload your new image and select Update to apply the new aerial layout.
- Select Save in the upper right corner of the map before exiting to save all changes!
