Learn how to access and utilize the Mental Health report in Compass Curriculum Mental Health & Prevention.
The Compass Curriculum Mental Health Report is specifically designed for schools and districts seeking to track compliance with state mandates for mental health education.
While it can be used to monitor general completion and program usage, its primary purpose is to ensure completion of any state mandated lesson.
Accessing the Mental Health Report
To access the Mental Health Report, navigate to the 'Reporting' section in the left-hand menu and select 'Mental Health Reports'

Understanding the Mental Health Report
The report provides an overview of all currently assigned mental health lessons. A clickable pie chart displays the percentage of completed and incomplete lessons. Clicking on a section of the chart allows users to drill down into individual student progress.

Report Filters
Each role has different filtering options to check for compliance. Please click to expand each section below to learn more.
Instructors
Class Filter:
- Instructors can use the class dropdown to view all assigned classes.
- Since Compass Mental Health lessons are typically assigned by grade level, secondary teachers may have multiple rostered classes with students assigned to each.
- Most instructors are responsible for tracking the progress of a single class. By selecting a specific class, they can view all students in that group and their completion status.
- Note: Selecting a class disables the grade level filter.
Grade Filter:
- The grade filter displays all students in a particular grade across all of the instructor’s classes.
- For secondary teachers delivering lessons to a single class, the class filter is often more useful than the grade filter.
Lesson Filter:
- The Lesson Filter allows users to narrow their view to a specific lesson. This filter can be used alongside class, grade, or school filters to isolate lesson-specific compliance data.
