The Behavioral Case Manager September 2026 release is scheduled for September 29, 2026. This release makes it easier to print and share individual CSTAG interviews, gives districts using Role-Based Access a clearer view of each team member's case access, and adds a new way to explore Navigate360 products.
✨ What's New in This Release
CSTAG Interviews
🖨️ Print Individual CSTAG Interviews
Users can now print a single CSTAG interview as a PDF, making it easy to review or share one interview without printing the full case report.
📄 Where to Find It
- Select Print from the three-dot menu on any interview card
- Printing is available for Interviews (Subject, Target, and Witness/Other) and Safety Planning Interviews (Subject, Parent/Guardian, and Teacher/Staff)
📋 What the PDF Includes
- The case report header and interview type
- The subject name, the person conducting the interview, and the interview date and location
- Each question in order, with the recorded answer beneath it. Unanswered questions show No Response Recorded
- Any interview notes
Role-Based Access
Important Note: These updates apply to districts with Role-Based Access enabled.
👥 Clearer Team Member Permissions
Users with Manage Cases or Coordinator permissions have case access that overrides their assigned role. Teams now show this clearly, so it is easy to understand what each team member can access.
📊 Team Members Table
- A new Permissions column shows each member's permission type: Manage Cases (green), Coordinator (blue), or Standard Access (gray)
- For Manage Cases and Coordinator users, an Access controlled by Permissions label appears beneath their role. Hover over or select the information icon to see which permission controls their access
🔍 View Team Member Panel
- For Manage Cases and Coordinator users, a banner explains that their permissions override their assigned role
- A table shows the member's current access level for each model: Read/Write, Read Only, or No Access
- Manage Cases users have Read/Write access to every model. Coordinator users show the access levels set for their Coordinator permissions
🔒 Edit User Role Panel
- For Manage Cases and Coordinator users, the Edit User Role panel is now read-only, with a banner explaining why
- The assigned role and its model access levels remain visible for reference, but they cannot be changed
- If the Manage Cases or Coordinator permission is removed, the user's role can be edited again
Case Models & Templates
🏷️ Updated Witness Label
- The Witness component label now reads Witness Name instead of Subject Name
- The new label appears in process models, templates models, and on step template cards when Show on template card is selected
Navigate360 Products
🧭 App Switcher
A new App Switcher gives users one place to explore the Navigate360 family of solutions.
- Select the new grid icon in the Behavioral Case Manager header to open the Navigate360 Products panel
- Select any product to learn more, or choose Explore All Navigate360 Solutions
🚀 Getting Ready for the Release
No action is required before the release. However, we recommend:
- Sharing the new interview Print option with CSTAG teams
- Reviewing team member permissions if your district uses Role-Based Access
