If PBIS Rewards for your school has data that is syncing with Clever or ClassLink and your Compass implementation also syncs data, Referral Admins with syncing accounts can assign Compass Intervention lessons directly from PBIS Rewards when completing a major or minor referral.

Note: Both the PBIS Rewards account for the referral admin assigning the lesson and the student being assigned the lesson must be shared and synchronized with Clever or ClassLink data.

Activate Assigning Lessons in Admin Settings

1. Admin can navigate to the Settings page and select the “BRS/Referrals” tab.
2. Scroll down to the Compass Curriculum Integration section.
3. Select the checkbox to allow Behavior Intervention lessons to be assigned when a major referral is submitted.
4. Select the checkbox to allow Behavior Intervention lessons to be assigned when a minor referral is submitted.

Assign a Lesson for a Major Referral

1. Navigate to the Referrals tab.
2. Select a referral to complete from the Part 2 : Submitted to Office section.
3. Select one of the available lessons that can be assigned from the referral or
4. Search for and select a lesson that is not in the curated list.
5. Select the Start Date for the lesson assigned.
6. Select the End Date for the lesson assigned.
7. Choose the appropriate tier for the lesson.
8. Complete the rest of the referral and Mark Complete.

Assign a Lesson for a Minor Referral

1. Navigate to a student’s minor referral screen and add a new or edit an existing minor referral.
2. Search for and select the appropriate Behavior Intervention lesson.
3. Select the start date for the lesson.
4. Select the end date for the lesson.
5. Select the appropriate tier for the lesson.
6. Complete the rest of the minor referral information and press Save.
