Important: PBIS Rewards does not sell 2-D scanners and does not recommend their use.

A scanner can be used on the web portal in any student search box. You will need to use your computer mouse to select the field that you want to fill with the information that you scan.

Here is an example process for using the scanner to sell to a student in a store.

1. On the PBIS Rewards Web Portal, select Store from the menu and then enter that store.
2. You will select the items to be purchased from the computer and select the “Checkout” button.
3. Select the student search field with your computer mouse. Scan the student ID with the handheld scanner to input the ID number. You may need to click from the keyboard or mouse to initiate the search. Select the student.
4. Mark the item “Redeem Now” or “Redeem Later” using your mouse.
5. Make any necessary adjustments to the selected items using the mouse and keyboard.
6. Click to select the “Purchase Items” button with your mouse.
7. The points will be deducted from the student’s account. The store screen will reload so that you are ready to check out the next student.
