Visit Time Settings
Learn how to set a Time in Building Limit and Auto-checkout Time.
District and Building Admins can set the Time in Building
- Log into Visitor Management as a District Admin or Building Admin
- Navigate to the Admin Settings by clicking the key icon on the side navigation menu
- Navigate to the Visit Time Settings tab
- Set Time in Building Limit
- Note: Users can set this limit so that front office staff will see when visits for staff, substitutes, visitors and volunteers have surpassed the Time in Building limit threshold.
- Set Auto-checkout Time
- When enabled, staff, substitutes, visitors and volunteers will be automatically checked out as of the time set if they did not check themselves out for the day.
Prevent School Overrides
If all schools will have the same Reasons for Visits, then the Prevent School Overrides setting needs to be toggled on. If all schools will not have the same Reasons for Visits, then the Prevent School Overrides setting needs to be toggled off. Toggling this setting off allows Building Admins to set their needed Reasons for Visits.
