Downloading the mobile app:

The Emergency Management (EM) mobile app can be found by searching for “Navigate360” in the app stores, or by using the appropriate link below:

  • Get the EM Mobile App from the App Store for iPhone
  • Get the EM Mobile App from Google Play

Initial login & setup:

  1. Use the link above to download and open the EM mobile app on your phone.
  2. Log in using your EM credentials. (Credentials are typically provided during implementation by Navigate360 or your district administrator).
    1. If your district has Clever SSO enabled, tap the Clever login button for seamless authentication.
  3. If you're responsible for multiple schools, select your desired location/site.
  4. Upon your first login, you'll be asked to accept notifications.

Depending on your device, you may receive separate prompts for regular notifications and critical alerts.

Make sure to select Allow to receive both types of alerts on your device. (You can always adjust these settings from the mobile app's settings page).

EM mobile app settings:

The EM mobile app allows you view and adjust your settings. Settings can be accessed by clicking on the 3 line menu at the top corner of the app.

Site Notifications:

In the settings/Site Notifications area of the app, you can view the sites/buildings you are set up to receive notifications for.

Notifications:

In the Settings/Notifications you will see the status (enabled or disabled) of your device notifications for the EM app for the following notification types:

  • Alerts
  • Badges
  • Sounds

You can adjust these settings by selecting “Open Settings” which will open the notification settings for this mobile app on your device. As a best practice, ensure your device's Critical Alert is toggled ON for the EM mobile app. This means notifications from the EM mobile app will go through your phone’s settings and play the alarm sound even if your phone is locked or on silent. Also, from your device settings area, make sure to enable sounds, badges, and alerts to verify that you receive all critical information during an emergency.

Send Test Notification:

In the Settings area, you will see the option to send a test notification to your device. This will allow you to test that your device notifications are set up as expected.

Note: you cannot test a Critical Alert outside of a school-facilitated test; however, you can test regular notifications.
