Adding a Webpage to a Home Screen
Save the Emergency Management page as an icon on your phone/tablet to allow rapid access from the home screen.
First Responder users access Navigate360 Emergency Management through a web browser on their preferred device. On mobile/tablet devices, it may be convenient for those users to link the URL (https://ems.navigate360.com) as an icon on their home screen.
Android Devices
- Launch the browser on your device.
- Navigate to the webpage you want to add to your home screen.
- Open the Options Menu.
- Tap the three dots menu (usually located in the top-right corner of the browser).
- Select Add to Home Screen:
- In Chrome or Edge: Tap Add to Home Screen.
- In Firefox: Tap Page, then Add to Home Screen.
- You can edit the displayed name for the webpage shortcut if needed.
- Confirm by tapping Add.
- Depending on your device, you may need to drag the icon manually to your home screen.
Apple Devices
- Launch the Safari browser on your device.
- Navigate to the webpage you want to add to your home screen.
- Tap the Share button (a square with an upward arrow) located at the bottom or top of the screen, depending on your device.
- Select Add to Home Screen
- A preview of the icon and the webpage title will appear. You can edit the title if desired.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.
- The webpage will now appear on your home screen as an app-like icon.
