Learn how to mark lessons as complete manually to track your progress more accurately and efficiently.

Assignments are not automatically marked complete when an instructor or admin presents a whole group lesson

To mark lessons complete automatically,  students must complete the lesson and pass the post quiz from their own accounts.

To track and report assignment completion when using whole group lesson delivery, the instructor or admin needs to mark the lesson complete in one of three ways. Expand each choice below to learn more:

From the Current Lesson Card

Step 1: On the home page, locate the recently delivered lesson in the Current Lesson carousel. Use the links at the bottom to rotate through each lesson, if needed.

Step 2: Click “Mark Completion in Gradebook”

Step 3: Use the first checkbox to select all students in the list. Note: You can also select students individually in the event some students were absent when the lesson was delivered.

Step 4: Open the “Mark selected as” drop down and select “Complete”.

Step 5: Click “Confirm” and close the pop up.

The Gradebook will open after confirmation. Expand the Gradebook section in this article to learn how to mark lessons complete from the Gradebook.

From the Gradebook

Step 1: Open the “Gradebook” drop down on the left side menu, and choose either “Student” or “Mental Health”.

Step 2: Filter the gradebook by name, class, or assignment, if needed. Quickly sort the list by start date to find current or previous lessons.

Step 3: Click the Assignment title.

Step 4: Use the first checkbox to select all students in the list. Note: You can also select students individually in the event some students were absent when the lesson was delivered.

Step 5: Open the “Mark selected as” drop down and select “Complete”.

Step 6: Click “Confirm” and close the pop up.

From the Group Assignments page

Step 1: Open the “Assignments” drop down and click on “Group Assignments” or “MH Group Assignments”.

Step 2: Enter the assignment title or filter the list using the column headers to locate the correct assignment.

Step 3: In the Complete column on the right side of the page, click “Mark as Complete”.

Step 4: Select or search for the correct class in the drop down. Instructors with a single roster/class can skip to Step 5.

Step 5: To select all students in the class, click “All Students”.

To select only a few students, use the checkbox to select specific students. Click “Next” to select additional students. Then, click “Selected Only”.

Step 6: Click “Confirm”

Step 7: Verify the lesson is marked complete and close the pop up.
