The Behavioral Case Manager October 2026 release is scheduled for October 29, 2026. This release gives administrators more control over case transfers by letting them choose exactly which process model versions transfer to each team, in a redesigned, easier-to-read mapping screen.

✨ What's New in This Release

Case Transfer Mapping

Important Note: Case transfer mappings are managed by District Administrators and Navigate360 Administrators.

🔀 Map Cases to Teams by Process Model Version

Administrators can now choose the specific process model versions that transfer to each team, instead of mapping a model as a whole. This makes it easier to control which cases move to a team as your process models change over time.

📍 Where to Find It

  • Go to Admin > Manage Buildings, select the three-dot menu for a building, and choose Edit Mapping
  • Open the Mapping cases to teams tab

🗂️ Redesigned Mapping Cases to Teams Tab

  • Each mapping now appears in its own bordered section with Add Process Models +, Case Opened and Case Closed checkboxes, a Select transfer team dropdown, and the retroactive-transfer checkbox
  • Select Map Models to Another Team + to add another mapping
  • Existing mappings load with their saved selections
  • The Save and Cancel buttons stay visible as you scroll

✅ Choose Model Versions

  • Select Add Process Models + to open a list of process models with their versions grouped underneath
  • Each group is titled with the latest model name and a summary, such as Original + 2 previous versions
  • Expand a group to see each version in order, starting with Version 1, along with its status, such as Unpublished or Archived
  • Select or deselect any version individually, then select Apply to confirm or Cancel to discard your changes
  • Search finds both model names and version names
  • Published versions always appear. Unpublished, archived, or disabled versions appear only when at least one case was created with them
  • CSTAG, NTAC, and Suicide Screening appear as single options that apply to all of their versions

🏷️ Review Your Selections

  • The total number of selected models and versions appears beside Add Process Models +
  • Selected versions are grouped under their model with a count, such as All Selected (3/3) or 2/3 Selected
  • Select the X on a version to remove just that version, or the trash icon to remove the whole model
  • Hover over a shortened name to see the full model name and status

🔄 How Transfers Work

  • Only cases created with a selected model version transfer to the mapped team, including when using Revert to SIS
  • Cases created with versions that are not selected do not transfer
  • Existing mappings were updated automatically to include all versions of each selected model, so your current transfers keep working without any changes

🚀 Getting Ready for the Release

No action is required before the release. However, we recommend:

  • Reviewing your case transfer mappings to confirm the right process model versions are selected for each team
  • Sharing the updated Mapping cases to teams tab with administrators who manage case transfers

If you have questions about any of these updates, please contact our support team or visit the Behavioral Case Manager Knowledge Base for additional resources.
