Alarm sounds are now available on the desktop. Users will be asked to enable the sounds when they first login to EM.

If a user decides to decline the alarm sounds, they can always turn them on by going to their user profile.
- Login to EM
- Click on your name on the bottom left of the navigation panel
- Navigate to the Rapid alarm settings tab
- Under the Rapid Alarm Alerts section, you will see the checkbox for Sound Alert on Web
- Check the box to enable the sounds or uncheck the box to disable the sounds
- Then click the Save button at the bottom of that screen

Once enabled, the user must have the browser open and be logged into EM. After an alarm is activated, the sound of that alarm will play through the computer's speakers. The user will see the sound playing under the Alarm Active button (alarm bell) on the side navigation panel. The user can click to pause the sound or after 30 seconds, the sound will turn off automatically.

Please remember that the user must be logged in and the browser open in order for them to hear these alarms. The browser can be minimized.
