If you are unable to connect your DYMO Printers to Visitor Management when using the Chrome web browser, please see the below steps to ensure the needed permissions have been applied in your browser settings.
What's Causing This?
In Chrome browser version 142 and newer, Google introduced a new Local Network Access permission. This security setting controls whether websites, in this case, specifically Navigate360 Visitor Management, can communicate with devices on your local network, including DYMO software installed and printers connected to your computer.
If this setting is not allowed, or if it was inadvertently blocked, Visitor Management will be unable to connect to your locally installed DYMO printers, resulting in no badges being printed from your Staff-Assisted station and/or Self-Serve kiosk.
Steps to Resolve
When Prompted:
If you are prompted by Chrome to approve or deny Local Network Access, when attempting to print a badge from Visitor Management:
- Select “Allow” in the prompt window

If You Were Not Prompted, or Clicked “Block” by Mistake:
Please follow the below steps to update the permission manually:
- Open Visitor Management in Chrome
- To the left of the web address bar, select the "View site information" icon (
)
- Select Site settings
- Scroll down and locate “Local network access”
- Change the setting to “Allow”
