Important: If your district plans to print badges or passes from a Self-Serve kiosk, DYMO printers cannot be connected directly to the kiosk. The printer must be connected to a workstation running a Staff-Assisted station and then assigned to the Self-Serve kiosk within Visitor Management.

✅⚠️ Self-Serve Kiosks and Badge/Pass Printer Requirements

  • Physically connect the Dymo printer USB to the workstation running the Staff-Assisted Station.
    • We currently do not support connecting the printer directly to a Self-Serve Kiosk.
  • Ensure a Visitor Management user is logged into the Visitor Management platform.
  • Assign the printer to the logged-in user under Device Settings > Self-Serve Kiosk.
    • Printing will not function unless both the user login and printer assignment requirements are met.
