***UDATED FACEBOOK INFORMATION***
Facebook no longer supports sending pre-filled text (e.g., custom messages) directly due to privacy concerns and to prevent spam. You will need to manually copy and paste the text/photos from Dynasites to Facebook now unfortunately.

Users can easily created a shortened URL of any Dynasite page using the website Tinyurl.com . This free, public site allows you to enter the original page URL from Dynasite, and create a shortened URL with a custom alias (if available). For example, using TinyURL.com, we can make the following URL conversion:
This URL has 53 characters.
Tiny URL conversion: https://tinyurl.com/CrimeAwarness
This URL has only 33 characters.
What are the "Alerts" pages used for?
The "Signup for Alerts" page allows members of your community to sign up to receive via email and/or text P3 Alerts that you can push out to your community reference unsolved crimes, wanted fugitives, etc.

Are Dynasites ADA compliant?
The framework for Dynasites is ADA compliant. Your web site editors should check the content that they enter for compliance issues using
SiteImprove with a setting of Level AA. In particular, editors should be aware of color contrast of images and avoid using outdated HTML markup (such as align, border, etc.). If editors cannot achieve Level AA compliance for the content that they enter into the website, then they can contact DSsupport@navigate360.com for assistance.
The framework of Dynasites follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (
WCAG 2.0 Level AA). These guidelines were developed through the W3C process in cooperation with individuals and organizations around the world, with a goal of providing a single shared standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally. Navigate360 uses
SiteImprove to periodically check for known ADA compliance issues.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) sets the main international standards for the World Wide Web and its accessibility. W3C created the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) that requires specific techniques for compliance. Many countries and international organizations require compliance with WCAG 2.0. The guidelines are categorized into three levels of compliance: A (must support), AA (should support), and AAA (may support). Representatives from the accessibility community around the world participate in the evolution of these guidelines.
As of 2017, the
ADA Title III regulations do not yet specify a standard. We believe the Department of Justice (“DOJ”) will likely adopt the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (“WCAG 2.0 AA”) as the standard for public accommodations websites for a number of reasons, including the fact that WCAG 2.0 AA is the access standard used in all DOJ settlement agreements and consent decrees about websites and mobile apps. The DOJ most recently stated that its proposed rule for public accommodations websites will be published in 2018. This final rule applicable to federal agency websites should provide businesses with confidence that WCAG 2.0 AA is the standard to use if they are working on making their websites accessible.
