I don’t want to be seen as a tattle tale.
Not only is your identity anonymous when you report to P3 Campus, but also you should not look at offering information as trying to punish someone. When you report, you are helping. Responsible reporting comes from a place of compassion.

I am the only one who knows about it. They will know it was me.
If you are the only one who knows, then you are the only one who can help someone from harming themselves or others. So it is especially important to report in this case.

I don’t want my friends to see me reporting something.
No problem. We’re here to respond to your reports 24/7. That means that if it’s easier or more comfortable to report when you’re at home, about to go to bed, we’re there.

I don’t know if it’s really that big of a deal (I don’t know if he/she is serious about what he/she said).
We all fear blowing things out of proportion and causing unnecessary trouble. That’s natural. However, there are many cases in which not saying something has resulted in even more harm. Your report will be addressed carefully, ensuring that reports that end up ”being nothing” stay that way. It is better to report than to stay silent and regret it.

I can handle it myself.
While it is good to practice conflict resolution and to talk out issues, we all have to admit that sometimes we can’t handle things on our own. That is why we have a team of experts (people who have studied and been trained to handle difficult and even dangerous situations) ready to help.

I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble with the cops.
Not everything will be handled by law enforcement. In fact, a lot of things worth reporting won’t. 0f course a police officer isn’t the best person to handle something like a friend with an eating disorder.

I don’t think anyone will actually listen to me and do something about it.
You’ll know someone is listening if you decide to engage in two-way dialogue with one of our trained dispatchers. Additionally, any time an action is taken on your report, you will be notified through the P3 Campus mobile app. When the report is closed out, we’ll also let you know.

I don’t know the name of the person I want to make a report about.
Any information you can provide is helpful—from a description of the person, friends of theirs, or classes you know they’re in. When you engage in two-way dialogue, you’ll have the opportunity to go into as much detail as you’d like.

I saw something concerning online.
You can take a screenshot of any social media app or chat conversation. You can super easily upload this right into the report. You can also upload photos, videos, word documents, and audio recordings.

I don’t have a smart phone/can’t download the app.
If you do not use the P3 Campus mobile app, you won’t get notifications about when actions have been taken on your report or when it has been closed out. But that’s no problem. You can always go to P3Campus.com to make a report. You can check on the status by logging back in with your secure credentials.

I am concerned about an adult.
Adults aren’t off limits. Any concern about the safety or well-being of the school community is valuable to report.
