PC/Windows -- Notes School Check IN requires an Administrator account. This is a database application and as such, SCI needs an admin user account to move, copy, delete, and rename folders and files. Administrator user rights are required on the computer, but NOT on the network. OME commands in the installation instructions above may be slightly different depending on which version of Windows you are installing School Check IN on. For example, on some Windows versions, Open = Run = Double Click = Okay School Check IN data and program files will be installed on your computer: f computer is 64 bit, School Check IN will be installed here C:\Program Files (x86)\SchoolCkeckIN\ If the computer is 32 bit, School Check IN will be installed here C:\Program Files\SchoolCkeckIN\ |

On your initial start of the School Check IN application, be advised that this may take from just a few seconds to upwards of 4 minutes. This one time delay is dependent on your computer’s speed, operating system, memory and video card. If you encounter this delayed initial start, it does not appear to be a daily issue nor does it appear to affect the speed and operation of the application in daily use.
Once School Check IN’s startup screen is present, you must choose a user name. Your username can be any name you wish.
School Check IN “DEMO” screen should appear. Your School Check IN serial number (S/N) should be visible on your screen. You will need the S/N number in order to obtain a registration number.
To start using School Check IN in the “demo” mode, click the CONTINUE DEMO button.
To access the ADMIN area of the application, your default password will be emailed to you. (Change this password immediately and store in a secure place - if lost, it cannot be recovered.)
