Basic: To change passwords:

  1. From the Main Menu, click Admin.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click School.
  4. Use backspace key to erase existing password(s).
  5. Enter new password(s)
  6. Press the TAB key to advance to the next field. DO NOT use the Enter or Return keys.
  7. Click Main Menu button
  8. Click Admin & try new password
  9. School Check IN has three passwords (not including OffenderCHECK and BioCHECK access). All three passwords are located in Admin > Settings > School.

Startup password

This may be turned off as required. For better security, a startup password is recommended.

Enterprise:

  1. Navigate to www.schoolcheckin.net
  2. Log in with District/Admin credentials
  3. Click on Manage School tab
  4. If logged in as District Admin, click on the pencil next to school name
    1. If logged in as School admin, proceed to the next step
  5. Click on Security
  6. Enter new password in both the Password and Re-enter Password box
  7. Scroll the bottom of the page and click Save Changes

Startup password does not apply to Browser Client stations. These credentials can be found under the Check in/Out Stations/Browser.
